Joining us on April 26th is Swannee Vranckx a self-taught artist from Belgium with a background in modelling, dress and props making, millinery and photography. She presents her avant-garde, surrealistic creativity on stage, inviting you to share a story.
Her signature act ‘Spider Glamour’ draws inspiration from her love of dress making and arachnids, lending their threads to complete her works. Obsessed with vintage fashion and history, she finds a lot of inspiration in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and uses vintage aesthetics for all her acts.
She performed at prestigious events and locations such as Neil Kendall’s Halloween show (U.K.), Proud Cabaret, Reptile, The Rhythm & Riot, The Chelsea Arts Club, the Antwerp Burlesque Festival (Belgium), La Coupole in Paris (France), etc.
All the costumes are handcrafted by Swannee including her trademarks “Giant Spiderweb Fans” and the “Snake Boa”
